The Making Of My Prosthetic Devil
This was one of my most challenging projects where I used various new techniques and machines I had not used before. I made a full head prosthetic using the injection casting process. I also used a compressor to get all the air bubbles out of the silicone before injecting it into the mould. In this project I wanted to show my take on what the devil should look like. After a lot of research I found that there wasn't just one description but many. When you are scared, sometimes your mind can play tricks on you, or you only remember the one main feature that stands out. So in my design you have a variety of different features the devil is said to have such as, the dragon, snake and Faust business man with 2 horns. You can see this in the shadow in my photograph of my devil prosthetic.
