In my personal projects, I wanted to challenge myself and develop new skills. I would also love to enhance my existing skills and make something to be proud of. I am obsessed with art and films, so naturally I love the film Alien directed by Ridley Scott. Ridley and the artist H.R Guiger created one of the most significant aliens of all time. Taking inspiration from this film, sea creatures and beetles, I have created my own version of an alien fetus. I want to display all 4 of them in glass bell jars, as if they have come from the Hunterian Museum in London. The alien fetus itself with be transparent with 3D veins inside the resin sculpture, with a metal spike holiding it up.      

I have alway been fasinated with false teeth, so I had to teach myself how to make this. I am currently making a series of different dentures for a variety of people and will hopefully exhibit the work in my up coming exhibition. 

Baby life casting posses very clear and obviouse challenges. Luckily I am constantly practising this tecnieque as my sister has had the delieght of giving me 4 neices and a nephew, with another boy on the way. Yes that makes 6 in total!
